Perhaps
you have already chosen a piece, or have even auditioned with
these pieces before. Or perhaps you can’t decide or have
had conflicting advice on what would be best for you. Or maybe
you just don’t know where to start.
This course is for those who are auditioning for Drama School
and want to present a fantastic audition. The main focs will
be working on individual pieces. The course includes:
- choosing the right audition speech for you
- preparing the piece
- confident audition presentation
- preparing for group auditions
- helping to relax during the process
- a mock audition in front of real directors/drama teachers
on the second day
- and much more
You
will need to have your contrasting pieces prepared. Over the
two days we will cover elements of group auditions, individual
interviews, pieces and audition technique. There will also be
a mock audition process taken by directors with experience working
in Drama Schools, and in the industry, who will offer constructive
feedback. This is a great way of preparing for what to expect
and feeling more confident and comfortable.
What
