Master Class

1 day workshops with professionals from within the industry

The master class is an excellent opportunity to spend a day working with a professional director in an intimate group. These are open to actors who have undergone formal training or have significant industry experience.

Places are limited to ensure individual attention.

The next Master Classes are:

Saturday, 12 Sept from 12pm to 6pm
with Ben Woolf
Ben trained as a theatre director assisting Sir Peter Hall, Michael Grandage, Paul Miller, Peter Gill and Nicholas Hytner. He is also a writer, and his plays ANGRY YOUNG MAN and WESTERN have won international critical acclaim. Ben has made film documentaries for Talkback Thames and BBC and his recent commercial for lastminute.com won the Young Directors Award at the 2009 Cannes Lions Festival. with Tom Hunsinger

Tom is best known for his work in film as a writer and director including the BIFA award winning Lawless Heart and Sparkle. He is also and actor with a career spanning over two decades. Tom is currently in pre-production for his next film Three Way Split and will direct Negative Space at the New End Theatre later this year.

His most recent two plays, ANGRY YOUNG MAN and WESTERN, have received critical acclaim and played in venues internationally including London, Prague, Adelaide, Edinburgh.
He has written and directed a number of short films, documentaries and commercials and written a number of original screenplays. He recently has been directing for the National Theatre's Connections season. More info
