and Modern Text Workshop

strengthen your technique

This
workshop helps you to build skills which specifically develop
through group work.
The first part of the day will focus on exercises and improvisations
using your imagination and technique. Working with others, you
will explore a range of characters, situations and motivations.
These will release your natural responses and potential, from
a centre of relaxation.
Building
on the first session, the second half of the day introduces
modern text, in duologues and small scenes. Allow your impulses
to work with the text, keeping sponteniety and truth. This session
will also build your awareness of new writers and plays. Individual
and group feedback will allow you to take the time to develop
the scenes and stretch yourself as an actor
This
workshop will guarantee individual attention as the groups are
small with limited places.
